Variable Clinical Presentations of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus in Three Sudanese Girls: Report of Cases and Review of the Literature

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic inflammatory disease of unknown aetiology. It is a multisystem disease characterized by spontaneous remissions and relapses. Certain organs are affected more commonly than others. Some patients have very mild disease, whereas others present with serious, lifethreatening complications. In this report 3 adolescent girls presented with variable manifestations of SLE to Wad Medani Children Teaching Hospital.
